When I’m fortunate enough to hang out with Kwana and his band, I usually try – usually in vain – to get a clear pic of his clear blue eyes.
The eyes of horses are amazing. Kwana’s are fascinating!

At this time of the year, to have full ponds, it is SO amazing to have water in ponds, let alone full ponds!
My mom is the strongest woman I know, and she comes from a long line of strong, self-sufficient women. She put off cataract surgery this year until after haying season because the eye doc had told her she couldn’t drive the tractor (too bouncy-rough). But it doesn’t stop her from getting out and feeding the animals or harvesting garden vegetables (yes! her Texas garden is still going strong) or baking yummies for the church’s fall festival this past weekend. 🙂
