Terra, a beauty of the earth.

Terra, a beauty of the earth.

Pretty Piedra isn’t vain. You can see that we caught her after a trip to the spa.
She could use a bit of a shower. We could all use a bit of a shower out here on the range.

He’s cute, sure, our beloved Sundance.
But allow me to draw your attention to the very cutest feature on Sundance’s handsome mug: the world’s cutest petito mustachio.
Am I right, or am I right. 🙂

Look at that little elk-girl staring me down while her aunties flow past.
She’s got spunk!

Corazon’s just hangin’ out, watchin’ the clouds roll by … wishin’ for rain. 🙂

Hollywood had an itch, and he found just the right old tree trunk stub to scratch it.

Hayden knew I needed a shot of that big wide open, and so he consented to mosey away from his band for a bit so I could include his magic presence.
In truth, he just likes to mosey. Here, he’s walking back to where they were still hanging out with me. 🙂
We were in a far eastern part of Spring Creek Basin, and this is looking across to the La Sal Mountains in southeastern Utah.

Her grey is whiter, and her dapples are less widespread, but Miss Terra is looking as lovely as ever.

If we had rain for every time we had clouds like that, we’d be in decent shape on the range.
Meanwhile, we’re always in decent shape when Tenaz crowns the horizon.

Temple’s and Madison’s attention was caught by the sound of a raven flying along a wall of the nearby arroyo.
I had started walking down into the arroyo to follow another band that had gone through it and was grazing farther along, just above it. When I happened to look behind me, I saw that I had some taggers-along (or is that tag-alongs?).
This might be their version of “hey, nothing to see here … look, over there!” 🙂
