What do you suppose he’s saying to her? Whatever it was, it worked. She gave him a nuzzle in return. 🙂
Hollywood courted Piedra when she was still a youngster in Steeldust’s band. All four of her foals have been sired by Hollywood. He has lost her a couple of times, but he always has gotten her back (probably due as much to her as to him).
Pony love. Believe it. (Yes, yes, very human.)

Gaia & Cassidy Rain
9 10 2012Gaia and her daughter, Cassidy Rain, formerly with Grey/Traveler’s band, now are with Storm’s band, which previously consisted just of Roja and her yearling son, Killian.
Pretty mama and baby girl.
Isn’t it strange to see a foal turning not lighter but darker?? (In our basin of dominant greys, it is!) Now she’s the rich, dark brown of her sire, Cinch. The question is: Will she stay this color?

This is the middle of a head toss, but he seems to be giving “auntie” Winona quite a look as they walk. (And that’s mostly greasewood around them in this photo.)
He’s doing exceptionally well. No more cough/bloody nose.
