Maybe instead of having April Fool’s Day in Colorado, we could have April-Snow-in-Colorado Day! Instead of being reliably on April 1 every year, it can be just whatever day in April it happens to snow, because, you know, it almost always DOES snow in April in Colorado. ๐
You’re right, TJ. It always snows in April…always. March to April in this country is “out like a lion”…in like a lion! ๐
I think we’re all a bit tired of the roaring lions and ready for some purring kitty cats. ๐
The moisture is a good thing no matter what the form!
This is a true statement! We always need and want the moisture. ๐
So true! April used to be โspringโ in the midwest. I see in Colorado April is the month of change, begrudgingly leaving winter behind as it moves towards spring. Maybe itโs to remind buds not to open too soon๐

Hoping for a beautiful spring this year!
The Sangres got snow; we got about 50 flakes/person here. But wind…
Yes, that ol’ wind. We got horizontal snow. Amazingly, about a quarter of an inch stuck overnight … but then nothing during the day. We still got some slippy mud out of it. ๐
Looks like we may have come out of the snow and into a bit of warmth,. Horses may like that!
We ALL like the warmth! Not as cold here as other places, and the horses are starting to shed their winter woolies. ๐ Days are noticeably longer; overnights still below freezing, but days are getting NICE!
