Maybe instead of having April Fool’s Day in Colorado, we could have April-Snow-in-Colorado Day! Instead of being reliably on April 1 every year, it can be just whatever day in April it happens to snow, because, you know, it almost always DOES snow in April in Colorado. 🙂

So true! April used to be “spring” in the midwest. I see in Colorado April is the month of change, begrudgingly leaving winter behind as it moves towards spring. Maybe it’s to remind buds not to open too soon😊

Yes, that ol’ wind. We got horizontal snow. Amazingly, about a quarter of an inch stuck overnight … but then nothing during the day. We still got some slippy mud out of it. 🙂
Looks like we may have come out of the snow and into a bit of warmth,. Horses may like that!
We ALL like the warmth! Not as cold here as other places, and the horses are starting to shed their winter woolies. 🙂 Days are noticeably longer; overnights still below freezing, but days are getting NICE!
