Mustang angel and lover of all wild life Pati Temple passed away yesterday evening.
Look out, God, whirlwind coming your way!
Pati was one of the most influential people in my life, despite having known her for just the last few years. Words cannot come close to describing the dynamo that was Pati, and at this point, the heartbreak is too raw to try.
God speed, Pati, on the wings of your beloved mustangs. You are much loved and will be most incredibly missed.
Couldn’t have said it better myself, my friend. We love you, Pati, and will miss your fire, determination and love.
I remember when you named this little filly after her. Godspeed Wild Horse angel!
Pati, I knew you only briefly, but long enough to see and feel your intense love for and knowledge of our wild horses…and your ability to put love into action on their behalf. Your fights on their behalf, and on your own to keep making a difference as long as possible, are a lesson in courage and determination for all of us. You will never be forgotten.
Such strength she had, such fight, such kindness, such love of horses and animals, we could all take lessons.
Sad at her loss, TJ…

We would’ve loved to get to know you more, you will always be an inspiration to us. I pray that we can all have the inner light of passion and determination that you had.
May God bless you and your family.

Sad news indeed TJ. I only met her a few times, she seemed dynamic and very dedicated. May her spirit rest, and run, with the wild ones.
She is watching over us now.
Wow. What a shock!
Condolences to you and to David.
She will be remembered.
Thank you all …
This is the saddest news… we never met Pati, but, through your eyes and heart, TJ, we came to know her as someone very, very special. Did you, by chance, remember to tell her that Kenzie would love to share his “prayer stick” with her? Please try to convey to David how much he and Pati are and will always be treasured. God speed, Pati – rest now, you’ve done well…
