Those pintos (in particular) are stout little mustangs. It took me quite a while to realize they’re actually pretty small/short. Small stature definitely is not a deterrent to mighty Corazon. πŸ™‚

King of the desert…and stunningly handsome. This is such a great photo, TJ! I love the lone Juniper and the dramatic icon-studded landscape behind Corazon. Quintessential Spring Creek Basin.

For a guy who does NOT like to pose, he sure gave me a great look here! … OK, so he was napping and too content to move, but still. I’ll take what I can get with him. πŸ˜‰

Alice recently asked me how old Corazon is, and I told her that he had to be close to 20. … But I realized I was thinking about the 15-year timeline when I should have been thinking of the *19*-year timeline. … So he’s likely closer to 25. He was already mature (youngish, but mature) when I met him! And yes, ol’ Bruiser. He still led a long, good, wild life and had many years of being as wild as he wanted to be with his good friend Mesa. πŸ™‚
