Did I mention that Spring Creek Basin and Disappointment Valley got rain?

And then we got snow. π And before Halloween!
This was yesterday morning in Disappointment Valley, just beyond the rimrocks and southwest of Spring Creek Basin. No ponies-in-snow pix; too muddy, and that snow was melting fast! For fare somewhat different than you usually expect to see on this blog, please enjoy this mix of pix of golden cottonwoods crowned with good-as-gold moisture:

Mother Nature had a few tricks up her sleeve ! Beautiful colors
And thank goodness she does! Keeps us wondering and hoping and goggling and grateful. π
WOW! What a great display of nature!
It was SO pretty!
This is absolutely beautiful, TJ! Precious moisture and prettiness all at the same time. Thanks for these pics of those desert cottonwoods in all their glory.
Those desert cottonwoods ARE glorious! In all weather and light. π
Good news and beautiful tooπ€

Sure is and was. π
Breathtaking! So glad for you.
I hope we get much more this winter. π Thanks!
Yeah for any moisture! And look how beautiful!
SO beautiful! Mother Nature’s finest handiwork. π
So very beautiful even without a mustang. Gives me a smile. Thank you for these daily postings of inspiration β£οΈ
Thank you so much for saying so, Sherry! π There’s a lot of inspiration in the wild places and with the wild things. I’m just trying to share that love! π
You do it so well. Iβve been reading Craig Childβs recently. He shares the wild well with words.
You can’t go wrong with Craig Childs! He is a true wordsmith and storyteller.
Have to change the name of that valley to Fruition Valley or Dreams Come True Valley.
Nope, nope, nope. We like a bit of mystery and secrecy. Those who know, know, and those who don’t … don’t need to! π
Got it π
Glorious!
Yes, it really was. π
