Mustangs and light and Spring Creek Basin in Disappointment Valley … all the way to Utah.
Perfection!
From their birth-range of Sand Wash Basin, within sight of Wyoming, to Spring Creek Basin, within sight of Utah, Dundee, Rowan and Aiyanna have come a long way … and continue to live wild and free. π
Renewal of seasons, affirmation of wild.
Happy Easter. π
Appears the 3 “newbies” & their stallion have made a happy family.
They do seem very content together.

all I think I ‘know’ recently? I’m Glad the Sand Wash Basin folks are with you now – many I know, who live closer to their home range area, are struggling on so many fronts, this spring – for the moment? they are safer where they are now, than where they were – and I guess, I can’t turn back the sun, or make the moon/tides change, but I think I have it within me to say, “for today? just now? For this living, beautiful thing? It’s good enough!” β€
And that’s pretty great. π
Happy Easter! He is risen. And here’s to our Sand Wash Basin refugees and their successful immigration to Spring Creek Basin and to their stalwart rock of a stallion, our beautiful Buckeye. All God’s wonderful gifts!
Hope ya’ll had a wonderful Easter weekend! Love these gifts, indeed. π
Hope it was a good Easter for you spending time with the land and horses..
Oh, yes. π I feel blessed every single day. π
