Temple grazes below her namesake Temple Butte as rain moves in from the southeast.

Rain! It was accompanied by lightning inside the boundaries of the basin. At this point, I hightailed it outta there!

I am so grateful! I can’t even tell you. πŸ™‚ The feeling of the whole valley is different – better, nourished. Still very dry … but better.

Talk about great buckets of rain!!! That is amazing! Especially, with blue sky behind it. May you get a few more buckets of much needed moisture. Temple is surely a beauty!

Yes, up-valley got drenched with a big curtain of fairly localized rain while down-valley got nothing. But what doesn’t get rain one day seems to get some the next day … or night. This pattern, so like the “old days,” has been so welcome and such a relief.

Hightailing “outta there” was prudent, TJ! Wow. What a gusher! Isn’t all this rain beyond wonderful?! We’re SO grateful.

I don’t like to mess around when I see lightning. But I was glad to see the rain on its way. πŸ˜‰ Very grateful, indeed!

I love seeing those curtains of rain … especially when they actually get to us! πŸ˜‰
