Craziness: When you walk into the basin hoping to find a particular band, not expecting to see any other bands in the area in which you’ll be hiking … and find FOUR other bands … and still not the band you were *hoping* to find.
It happens. 🙂

Peace, indeed. I lost track of days, but I hope we all try to embody the ideals of equality and compassion for our fellow human beings AND all that walk this earth with us, as hoped (and not that long ago) by Martin Luther King Jr. And as we welcome a new president and vice president to office, I hope it’s a first step toward healing.
Too right we are! The ground is white, the shrubs are white, the trees are white; the very air is white with steadily falling snow. Only about an inch and three-quarters at 9 a.m., but it’s filling in the bare places nicely. 🙂 🙂 🙂
