Yes, it comes and goes – and sometimes, here, hard to tell the ‘haze’ from winter items moving in, unless the smell is strong, as I’m surrounded by neighbors with wood-burning stoves, which have, here of late, been put into use overnight – :). But, still, overall, (and especially! After i did the “700 Years” tour some years ago at Mesa Verde”!) I realize that we here, while at nearly the same altitude as over there, seem to often be blessed by more rainfall/year than there – – that said, it was a moment in time 6 years back and this past year has been hard on all of us, on the rain fronts! But, for me, tornadoes, drought, blizzards, wild/grass fires still seem easier to deal with (personally) than earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes – :). I guess, for me, I feel more comfortable with the ‘devils I know’ – 😀
P.S the “yup its the fire haze” confirmation rolled in around 1pm or so today. Sigh. Hoping the high country gets some rain or snow here soon!!

We have a new fire on our horizon as of today. It’s not close enough to be a danger to us, but it’s still disconcerting to see smoke from an active fire so relatively close. I definitely don’t want to deal with hurricanes or earthquakes … OR fires and tornadoes! Here’s to rain and snow for all of us!
Love it, just follow the ladies!
They know what they’re doing. 🙂
Ladies in the lead!
It’s the mustang way! 🙂
Kwana ” has their backs.” He’s not only handsome but attentive too!
Oh, yes. He goes where – and when – the mares go. 🙂
No rain here on the Eastern plains, either, but appears we ‘weathered’ the high wind and extreme fire danger, here locally, the past two days –
Prayers for you all to get rain and avoid fires! I think you’re seeing more smoke again from the Colorado fires?
