Spring Creek Basin Mustangs

Remember my recent chortling about battling stallions and how we don’t see much of it?

That’s not to say that we don’t see ANY of it!

Young Master Skywalker is in one of his phases of actively seeking a mare, and he has the bloody lip (and jaw and cheek – and a few other places) to show for it (“it” being his lack of success … so far).

The mares seem pretty content where they are, and with whom … for the time being. But it’s only a matter of time for this young studly.

This was another through-the-window shot, and Puzzle and Kwana are on or very near a road as it curves around above an arroyo from my position.

They must know how amazingly beautiful they are?? 🙂

Another sight to soften the heart and keep alive the desire to protect at all costs.

Seeing spring coats revealed is better than Christmas morning. 🙂
