This happened late Tuesday evening in Spring Creek Basin. Wowza. Not the boldest rainbow ever, and the pic doesn’t do justice to the view, but it was pure magic. … Yes, it “sprinkled” over that part of the basin; I think I got hit by four, maybe five drops. Sure was pretty. 🙂

The clouds and sprinkles *did* cool things down a bit … but when it’s blistering, “cool” is relative. 😉 But like we’ve noted before, in the face of such beauty, you suddenly don’t notice the heat (or cold)!

I was thinking about you when I was trying to get a cell phone pic of the backlit rain drops! 🙂 Hopefully some moisture is making its way into our region. … I give it 50-50; it will … or it won’t! Ha. (Hoping like crazy and crossing everything that can be crossed, and if I had the water, I’d wash my truck!)
