We got rain. 🙂
Later, as the sky was clearing, while waves of rain were still pushing across Disappointment Valley, the magic appeared:

The wide, wide, super-wide views. Even with my phone, I had to go wiiiiiide to get the entire rainbow – and its double – in view.

My unicorn (otherwise known as Winona). 🙂

Yesterday might have been April Fools’ Day, but the magic was real! SO incredibly thankful for the rain (very light but most of the day … and after dark again). The world instantly looks greener.
Gorgeous, gorgeous photos, TJ! Glad you got some rain too! And that rainbow is breath-taking, a perfect spectrum, with precious Winona as the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Stunning pictures. ❤️
You can imagine that I was ELATED to not only see that rainbow(s) form (I was on a high anyway from the day of rain!) but also to (for once) be right out with mustangs. 🙂 I will say that mustangs do NOT take photo direction. But I can usually count on Winona to *eventually* give me a great pose and look … and she did. The magic is real!
So glad for the rain! What beautiful pictures! Now we know that horses are at the end of the rainbow!
SOSOSOSO grateful for the rain. It had been almost a month since we’d had any kind of moisture, so even this little bit has been a relief (though I’m super poopy now about the blazing wind!). Mustangs ARE the gold at the ends of the rainbow – and everywhere in between. 😉
So happy for you – and yes, Winona appears to be right at the end of that rainbow – as she should be.
Wow! and doub
🙂
Ooh, so beautiful!! RAIN! So thankful ❤️
It was so peaceful and such a relief to get nearly a full day of misty rain. I’d like a lot more days like that! VERY thankful!
