It may not look very damp, but it was β after a quarter of an inch of rain that morning! McKenna Peak and Temple Butte were wreathed in clouds (very unusually) until early afternoon, and this doesn’t capture that, but Tenaz is the star of the show anyway. π
That gives us 0.35 inch of rain (Friday afternoon and Tuesday morning), which is more than we’ve gotten in about three months? At least. The ground still is pretty dry under the top layer of dampened soil, but it has to help the vegetation (and the water catchments, too).
Tenaz IS the star of the show but all that lovely dampness is close behind. Hope we all keep getting this little blast of moisture! We had some more overnight and more is good.
I sure hoped we’d get more, but it kinda fizzled over us. Very grateful for what we DID get … but we always need more! π Glad ya’ll got good rain – and especially over the fires!
Damp is very good after all the dry!
Is it ever! It’s weird to have … humidity!? Ha! π
Tenaz appreciates the moisture and rain.
So do we all! π
Sucg a handsome boy!
That’s supposed to say “such” π
And he IS a very handsome boy! π
