Stripes

While we wait for snow (that sticks), how about another pic of our lovely dun girls? While Aiyanna watches the pronghorns half a mile or so away, Dundee keeps her eyes on me. πŸ™‚

Interesting how their dorsal stripes mimic some of the erosion ridges on far McKenna Peak, eh?

Nature’s patterns fascinate me. I wouldn’t have seen this. And yes, please, more snow that sticks.

I really didn’t particularly see until I was looking at pix on the computer! … We definitely need more snow. Although it’s muddy, that’s just the freeze-thaw cycle, and we need more fresh moisture!

Interested how the keep track of what may be happening from all sides. And the stripes perfect.
So are they related?

Not closely, if they are at all. But they did both come from Sand Wash Basin. πŸ™‚
