Other than the literal noise from trucks and UTVs/ATVs up and down the road, it seems fairly quiet and OK. … Just a lot of people and vehicles when we’re used to nearly none of either (!).
I’m assuming you are talking about “deer season”. Gun season starts here Saturday. Hoping NOT to hear a lot of shooting & for sure no injured or dead deer. I ate my share of venison years & years ago – married to a hunter – but am so done with that & have been. Love the ones who live around my area & enjoy seeing them (deer not hunters)
There are multiple hunting seasons in Colorado, for various animals, starting in September with archery season. We’re currently in third rifle season, and people are hunting deer and elk (though I believe people can hunt bears (at least) as well). Fourth season follows, but it’s shorter and not nearly as heavily trafficked as third. … Third is a bomb of Grand Central Station-type population explosion.
Yeah – I think bow season starts here in Sept or thereabouts then at some point its muzzle loaders? The gun season is just louder. My place is posted & so are the woods behind me plus the houses arent far enough away for hunting – not legally anyhow.
Godspeed to these guys. Three LONG days from our perspective. Hope all is under control out there, TJ.

Peace.
Soon. 🙂 Every day brings us closer to the end.
Very beautiful picture! We all could use some peace, human and animal!
In so many ways. 🙂
