This pic was taken Wednesday, the last truly terrible day of wind (so far, I hope). Though Corazon doesn’t look too battered in this single still image, I assure you, the wind WAS battering – as shown by the dust partially obscuring McKenna Peak and Temple Butte in the background.
Just another day for the mustangs but I’ll bet they will enjoy some dust free days. You too TJ 🙂
The wind has finally died down, but we still have the dust. The soil is already like powder in some places. But it’s sure nice to see blue sky again. 🙂
Our view of the foothills and mountains was so obscured by the dust yesterday and day before, it looked like haze from smoke. We are so done with it!

Ditto here, and agreed!
Love those windy pintos!
🙂
She looks like she’s had more fun, though.
The wind is no fun, for sure!
Dustbowl. Hate to think of those mustangs having to breathe that air with no refuge from it. Hope things get better for them…and us!
So true. Fortunately, the last couple of days have been pretty nice!
I hope the strong winds are gone.
Me, too! So far, so good!
