Bright boy

9 02 2022

There’s a whole lotta brown out there in Spring Creek Basin these days. And because these days are in February, that’s a cause for a fair bitta concern.

Fortunately, we have Hollywood to liven up the scene. 🙂

Hollywood is SO good-looking and helps to take attention away from our on-going brown, parched land.

Thank goodness he does. It’s getting hard to ignore that terrible parched land.

I drove westward yesterday, for an onsite client visit – Towards Pikes Peak – and sadly, this time of year? My mind went back to the days, of yore, when the blinding, large cap of snow shone like a beacon against the blue of the peak so many miles away – and I thought, “Brace yourself, gonna be another long, dry, hot summer – ” sigh –

It’s going to be a really rough year all around, I’m afraid. 😦

Yup – cold week and 4 days of snow fall – here – forecasted, but we are still in the 2-4″ prediction band – and well – I’m already conserving and planning for even more town water supply conservation, in hopes, I can drip irrigate/slow/low deep soak stuff now I got the supplies and can do while also still coming in under my basic alotment I’m allowed every month – if nothing else? planning for being lean/mean on water usage, whether I have to or not – in TOWN on less than an acre of land! LOL
