Maiku models his best tree pose as the sun sets into an actual cloud bank at sunset. We don’t have many clouds these days … and the ones we have don’t whisper rain. (It’s hard to realize it’s already so incredibly dry, and I’m sorry to harp on about it, but the collective power of prayer is strong … !)
Dry, dry and in need of moisture for sure.
Yes!
Reading about wildfires already & hearing the season is “early”!! I can understand dwelling on that – when you are in the midst of it. I get it!
Not even winter took our area out of “exceptional” drought. It’s *excruciating*.
I will join in your collective prayer for rain🙏

Praying for rain.
Thank you!
As always, we’re praying for the rain to come. It’s so, so dry; parched soil everywhere you look, and the winds begin again today. Hopefully there’s a little water out there for the ponies as we head into these dry spells.
Sigh – it seems such a short time ago boots and hooves were caked in mud…But, hard to replenish an area well, after so long a drought time. So I’m praying for rain for you all and hoping it isn’t a devastating flood when it appears, with so many folks storming the gates of Heaven for you and your locale ecosystem!! :D. that said, I thought of you, the entire time I started watching, a movie recommendation from a family member — it’s available on Amazon Prime Video – The Silver Brumby [1993]. The storm over the mountains, the rain, the winter, the brumbies who move through the wilderness and their interactions with mankind. And I have on my list to ‘research/explorelearn more’ about how the film was made – Based in Australia, and their native horses, I thought of the film crew and you capturing the mustangs of our southwest all the time I watched it. https://www.amazon.com/Silver-Brumby-Russell-Crowe/dp/B08N4JD64R/.
