Easter means springtime and renewal and, if we’re lucky, grass and wildflowers and other yummy green and growing things.
A year ago, this beauty, Ostara, was born on Easter. Blessed days to you all (and please, Mother Nature, some rain for our ponds!).
Happy Easter to you and all the horses! Yes, it would be good to have some rain!
Just a wee toad-gagger to start … then maybe a soft rain every week or so. Really, we’re not greedy. π
TJ, she has her eye on you! Wishing everyone 2 legged and 4 legged Peace and Moisture!
She did, for sure. π Thank you for the peace and moisture wishes!
How can one not be hopeful looking at that beautiful face ! Happy Easter π
You’re so right – I think it’s not possible to be other than joyful in the face of such beauty! π
Happy Easter to all.
π Hope you had a good holiday!
Love her name! Yes, blessings and wishes for rain for SCB and much of your state. Who is the cutie on the left? What herd is Ostara with?
Thanks for the wishes. We need rain so badly. Hard to believe we got some decent snow late in the winter … then mud … and still so insanely dry. At back left is an older colt, Cheveyo, and at right is her mother, Mariah.
Happy Easter TJ! My first ‘glimmer of green’ of the irises and rhubarb showed up on Friday! Thus, I’m in full ‘Renewal, Regeneration, Rebirth” celebration – to! (It is so much easier for me to celebrate fully, when such local fauna shows up before the ‘calendar’ date!
Exactly, it’s really the “glimmers of green” that put me in mind of spring arriving. π Though out here, that as often means weeds as good green things! Happy Easter!
Happy Easter to you TJ and all our wonderful mustangs πΈπΊπ Sent from my iPhone

Happy Easter, Karen. π
Happy Easter to you, TJ! My goodness; Ostara has grown, and how gorgeous she is! And may the rains come.
Happy Easter, Sue. π Yes, it’s amazing how fast they grow … and I’m out watching them do it! I sure hope we get some rain … though, as the wind howls, it’s hard to think thoughts of moisture. …
