The news of the day in Disappointment Valley is RAIN.
The addendum is WIND.
But we still got rain. 🙂 It soaked in pretty much immediately, but there were a few puddles in places that the wind couldn’t suck up immediately.
Houdini, Alegre and Maia took advantage of the rain and damp ground to get in some good, wriggly rolls.

Wouldn’t that be awesome!? I hope so, too. In some forecasts, it shows more … then … those raindrop icons (and chances) disappear. We are in the desert … but even we need rain! Keep those fingers crossed! 🙂
So glad you and the ponies got some of the rain, too, TJ! We had about 0.3 inches total; more would have been nice but we’ll take it. The wind is awful today. No where else on earth can you have flash flooding one day, and high wind warnings and fire danger the next. I’m lovin’ the three lovelies in your pic all decked out in their newly acquired mud treatments! 😁
