The whir of raven wings

Attracted Maiku’s notice:

The ravens were very active on Seneca’s birthday. Raucous, too. How cool would it be to have a raven’s-eye view of the basin? Or a pony’s-eye view of ravens?

Ravens have been very active here on property next to us where there are lots of prairie dogs. Yesterday I saw many ravens, 2 red tailed hawks and a golden eagle!

WOW, to actually see these birds!! Super!! Seems like the Ravens, Crows and Jays have been more visible this Fall. Hopefully, the virus-thingy that the “corvids’ underwent the last few years or so is finished… sure hope so… We’ve had both Jays and Crows visit our backyard the last couple of weeks, which is a very good sign. We also have a Cooper’s Hawk, aka “Coop” who visits almost every day. “Everyone” is welcome here, even if it’s kinda hard to watch sometimes… it’s still a good “sign” that things are happening as they should…
