The full, magnificent, phenomenal, gorgeous, spectacular, astoundingly amazing and very full moon rose over Sand Wash Basin the night before SWAT’s/GEMS’ Rendezvous.

The day really was that beautiful. Every day in Spring Creek Basin with the mustangs are beautiful days, but sometimes, God not merely smiles but beams. How proud he must be of the world Mother Nature rules.

Comanche and Aspen have a respectful relationship, and though they may have an occasional chat about life, life goes on pretty peacefully.

That snow? It’s pretty much gone. February feels like April … but we heard that we may get lucky in the snow department again in early March. Here’s hoping, hoping, hoping! Seneca and Killian already are using branches to ease itchy coats.
We need all the winter moisture we can get because we never know what the rest of the year will bring.

Comanche concentrated only on defense of his family from Chrome’s half-hearted challenge. But he looked awfully good doing it!
