Not a much-seen view from the basin; in fact, the horses were down toward the far southeastern boundary, deep in McKenna Peak Wilderness Study Area. Snow still on the Cone, and we may see more of the white stuff by the end of the week and over the weekend. He looks wonderfully healthy, copper in the bronze light.
