Pretty dang cute

Sweet Rowan and handsome Buckeye. πŸ™‚

What?! A little privacy, please?

Darling ponies.

The ground was still damp. Clear, fresh water was still trickling through the little arroyo, and the horses definitely drank from it. How nice for them to drink as they graze instead of heading a long way specifically to drink and move on!

And it rained again. It started before 5 a.m. Sunday and rained steadily all … day … long! I didn’t slog through the mud, but I’m guessing that all the arroyos and all the creeks are running with water – high and broad and rolling again!

**Update: It’s 6 p.m. Sunday, and I typed the above earlier in the afternoon. I don’t have to guess about the creeks and arroyos; they are RAGING and completely flooding. And it’s supposed to rain all night and into mid-morning Monday.

Be safe out there, folks.

Sweethearts caught in the moment. What great photos of dear Rowan and Buckeye, TJ! Much, much torrential rain here yesterday, even some flash-flooding just a few yards from our house! Very exciting.
