Young Master Flash is looking a little scarred and beat up, but he otherwise looks good and ready for winter. He still has some remnants of his pinto pattern, but otherwise, he’s pretty grey, grey, grey. π
That’s a good question and one I always ask myself/them (with about the same percentage of actual answer) when I see somebody standing awkwardly. Fortunately, in Flash’s case, he had just been grazing, then he looked up to the right (his left) and seemed about to step that way. I was waiting for him to look up from grazing (notice that he’s caught in a half-chewing mode) so I could get that great background, and then he looked right at me – still with that leg outstretched as if to lean that way for a step that way. He’s scarred, but he’s in otherwise good condition. π
He’s been hanging out with two other bachelors, roaming far and wide, and they’ve been doing the typical teenager stuff … harassing other bands, causing mischief … π
just happens to be standing with his leg off to the side? No injury?

Does he just happen to be standing that way? No leg or shoulder injury?
wow, looks like heβs had a tough summer ! Sure wish he could hang onto a few of those beautiful markings!

Our gorgeous Flash boy seems to be exchanging his unique markings for stallion scars! I love that last beautiful marking on his leg. π
Me, too, and like Trish, I wish he would keep his pinto markings! But he’s still pretty flashy with his long forelock and sweeping mane. π
He really does have a lot of battle scars!
The youngsters pick up a lot of scars – lots of play fighting (and sometimes more serious)!
He sure is showing his determination in those battle scars. One day he’ll get his reward. π
He will. π
He’s beautiful…
Yes, he is. π
Sweet boy!
