Pink is as pretty as grey

Our skies have returned to Colorado-blue (is that a color on the paint-chip charts? it should be) from the smoky conditions. That’s good for us … and I hope it’s good for firefighters and community members who are battling fires in their own home ranges.

This pic of Winona was too pastel-pretty to pass up sharing.

I went back to your first post in 2008 – so true-maybe more so today.

“Wild horses are wild. Would you expect to walk up to a bison in Yellowstone National Park with your Kodak point-and-shoot camera? (Please, answer no.)

And today with the cell phones & zoom – its so unnecessary to get up close & personal with wild creatures! But currently some people actually would answer yes to that question!

Somehow – I doubt most Wild Horses would “stand” for that.

No, they wouldn’t. It continuously amazes me to read the stories from Yellowstone about people getting hurt while trying to take selfies with bison (or elk or …). I love to show the background scenery of Spring Creek Basin in my pix of the mustangs. πŸ™‚

That photo IS “pastel-pretty,” TJ! And Winona…well, she is the highlight of any photo she’s in! πŸ™‚
