Yesterday, while the lower part of Disappointment Valley was getting rain (yay!), some of the upper northern and eastern ridges got snow!

This is from Disappointment Road looking east-ish across Spring Creek Basin.

McKenna Peak across Round Top. That’s some decent snow!

Temple Butte, obscured by low snow clouds.
We needed this moisture badly.
Glad you got to share in the moisture, TJ! We had the snow version and are very grateful. 🙂
Yay for your snow! Yay for our rain! Moisture. Is. Good!!! 🙂
So glad for the moisture!
SUCH a relief. 🙂 We always wish for more … but we know the value, and we’re not TOO greedy!
Yeah ! Off to a good start !
For sure! I hope we have another good winter. 🙂 We need it! We *deserve* it!
Yeah ! Off to a good start !
🙂 🙂 🙂
We received a light rain. Better than nothing.
Always better than nothing. … That’s what I said when we got just a teeny-tiny *trace* the first day when we had big rain chances. 🙂 I’m glad we got the second – better – dose. Hope ya’ll keep stirring up those rains for us (and get good soaking rains in the process)!
We got freezing fog… Pretty but unavailing
Yeeek. We rarely get fog (as soon as I tell people we rarely get it, we get it … ). I’ve been through/in the San Luis Valley when it was an ice-crystalline paradise … but SOOOOOOOOOO cold. Pretty … but I don’t need to see it – or haul horses through it – again any time soon!! 😉 Hope you get some good snow-or-rain moisture soon!
Thanks! Me too. ❄️
Much needed moisture- a cause for mustangs to celebrate 🎉

Them … and us, too. 🙂
Yeah, snow! Thanks for this! Bring it on!
Keep your fingers crossed!
