If you look closely (?), you can maybe see the golden aspen blanketing the flanks of the not-too-far-away La Sal Mountains in Utah.

We’ve known him for a long time. 🙂 Would you believe that all those golden aspen leaves (not terribly visible in the pic because of the light glare and haze) are GONE now?! Just in the last couple of days with the wind and snow. I wish fall would last longer … but I suppose that’s also why I revel in it. Short and glorious!
