While Chipeta may seem to be expressing some joy about the recent rain and snow, she’s really hot-footing it away from her stallion, who is *encouraging* her to return to the band from her wayward wandering (!).
We’re getting great and much-needed moisture!

No. 🙂 Just, sometimes, she likes to have her space to find the better bits to eat, so she wanders farther than her stallion would like when other stallions are watching! Ha.

Ahh – good news on the moisture! as for Chipeta? Obviously, she is working hard to ‘train stallion’ who is being stubborn – – LOL (but that observation is totally given me own biases – – LOL)
I don’t know how much training of her stallion she was doing; she hustled right back to the band when he turned his attention to getting her back! 🙂
