On high ground, Skywalker shows off the snowy western part of Spring Creek Basin and beyond to the ridges that form the southwestern edge of Disappointment Valley.
His is the quiet force of nature. One of these days, he’ll have his own band and not be a hanger-on, but for now, he seems content to have company (though he does also like to go on solo walkabout!). Socially distanced, of course! 🙂
He is so gorgeous! And well camouflaged!
Ha – yes. In the dry months (!), I look for white dots; in the winter, I look for the dark horses in the distance!
Thanks for this special boy walking in the wild.
I know how special he is to you. 🙂 And for those who do NOT know, Pat named Skywalker when he was a baby. 🙂 He is a special boy, indeed!
He has the force of nature! What a cool guy!

😍 Pretty-boy Skywalker. I’m liking what appears to be a snow mustache on that handsome nose!
Ha! Yes, the snow was just deep enough that the horses had to wriggle their muzzles a bit to clear flakes from tasty bits of forage. 🙂
