Pretty Winona is “snowier” than the landscape. 🙂

Out of the clear blue sky (well … ) yesterday, we got a snowstorm! (This photo of Kestrel is from a few days ago, and most of that snow is long gone.)
The squall itself didn’t last very long. The snow stuck briefly to the warm ground, then mostly melted. But it was moisture, and we are, once again, grateful. It’s pretty brown here for the middle of December.

All the looks, much of the ‘tude, 100 percent real live wild. 🙂

The snow has soaked in by now, leaving the ground once again brown. But by the mud that came later, moisture was enjoyed. 🙂

Ever so slowly, dark Killian is going grey. … And he’s still such a youngster. 🙂

As has been said, our wily mustangs know how to blend in to their surroundings. 🙂

It looks like our snow chances have passed by, but there’s still snow on the ground in many places, so that moisture is still soaking in. We’ll take what we can get!

Fortunately for the sake of this photo, a horse was behind Terra, and when she looked around at him, she paused to look at me as she turned back to her grazing. And shazam: Terra and the icons of Spring Creek Basin.
Glorious. 🙂

Bright-eyed Gaia girl in the bright late light.

… a little drought relief. 🙂
