During a cloudy day with rain clouds prevalent – and rain that chased us out of the basin shortly after this photo was taken – a new friend and I found Hollywood’s band in time to see them lit up like the rockstars they are.

Skywalker is feeling his oats. He ran with the band for a bit … then he apparently ran out of wind in his sails and settled down to graze by himself.

He’ll try again. 🙂

This is no April Fools’ joke: Two nights ago, my little external hard drive fell to the floor from my laptop and pulled out the cord. … And then it wouldn’t work when I plugged it back in.

Fortunately, I mostly back up files to another drive, but because I have a lot of images and shoot often, when I DO back up files, it takes a while to copy them, which in turn makes me procrastinate doing it.

Thanks to a couple of mustang advocates who read this very blog, I have leads on good local tech people (thank you!!). Hopefully, my drive needs just a tweak and a twitch to nudge it back to goodness. … And/or I’ll make more visits to the ponies and get more new images to share.

Win/win (but I’d really like to have those files back!).
