While I was photographing the main band on one side, Chipeta found herself having dilly-dallied on the other side. As they grazed along and away, she decided that she needed to join them NOW. And happily for me, I caught her in an animated trot! That’s Brumley Point in the background at right; Spring Creek Basin’s southeastern boundary runs down from the far right/south side of it (not visible in this pic).
She is at least 21 now and still (sometimes) feeling feisty!
