Buckeye and Aiyanna. 🙂
The Ferris Fire is holding steady at 64,881 acres, and it’s now an amazing 83 percent contained! Way to go, firefighters and Mother Nature! There have been more than 1,100 people assigned to this fire.
The Spring Creek Basin level of Disappointment Valley finally received the first/best rainfall Friday night. Up-valley neighbors report good rains, but at the lower end, it’s been more on the miss side of hit-or-miss. Hoping the future chances of rain really target the dry areas.
We got quite a storm last night – rain too!!!
Sunny & blue sky again this am –
Great about your rain! We get the same blue-sky sunshine the morning after storms. 🙂
I watched the weather news on the Canadian tv. There are over 190 fires up there and many are doozies.
It appears that rather than offer to help our politicians are whining about the smoke – for some reason criticizing Canada for “not managing their forests” better???? Then it showed where the fires are – way way way up in the boonies – only way in is helicopter!
Sorry for inserting politics – but seriously, the standards for electing people in this country need to be raised!
So glad things are getting better! Love this super couple!
There’s still a lot of getting-better to get. 🙂
Gorgeous photo of our glam couple, TJ! The gift of rain has certainly helped with firefighting efforts. Eighty three percent containment is just the best news. Hopefully more rain will reach lower Disappointment as the monsoon continues and any new fires will not have a chance to take off. So grateful things are improving each day; it’s been rough.
It HAS been rough. Very grateful for all our blessings; there are many!
Good morning Buckeye and Aiyana. I’m so happy for your rain😁🥰
So are we. 🙂
Such a handsome and gorgeous couple!
My heart breaks with all the news about all the fires here in the US and Canada.
And floods again in Texas. … Devastating disasters for so many people. 😦
