This busy little bee was visiting all the blooms in the vicinity when I stopped for a quick visit on my way to see a band.
Most of the prickly pear cacti in Spring Creek Basin feature those peachy blooms or pretty yellow flowers, but now and then, there’s a pretty pink-flowering cluster.

These blooms are gorgeous, TJ! Thank you for this photo; our cacti rarely have this beautiful shade.
The pink flowers are definitely eye-catching! I saw them from the road and stopped to hoof it over there to take pix. … ‘Course, then I saw more blooming cacti … all in the yellow or peachy shades. 🙂 Still … beautiful!
