Meadowlark moon

OK. I might have a new contender for favorite meadowlark – any bird, really – image!

This meadowlark was singing his heart out as the moon set in the southwestern sky Monday morning.

There he is! Mr. Meadowlark. Wish your photo had an accompanying sound option, TJ!

Oh, wow, I wish it did, too! They are SO loud and liquid and melodic. I love their song. 🙂

Boy, do we need to hear the birds sing – rather than the awful depressing terrifying “thoughts” coming from DC.

Sorry TJ – but things are really scary right now. So love to see the mustangs, birds, and other wonderful creatures – at this point we humans suck!

I hope the images on this blog of the mustangs and peaceful scenery is an antidote to all of that. It can’t cure it, but it can be a place to leave it behind for a bit.

That’s a cool photo, a singing bird and the moon.

I was pretty stoked that the meadowlark sang there long enough for me to get them in the same frame. 🙂
