Who else is feeling the need for a nap between Christmas and New Year’s Day? π
It’s been blessedly quiet and peaceful in Disappointment Valley and Spring Creek Basin lately. The crazily unseasonal 60-degree temps are a thing of the past; today’s high temp is forecast to be a whopping 39F. Some places in Colorado are getting rain or snow from the storms that hit California (thank you, West Coast!). There’s an ever-so-slight possibility of “rain/snow showers” here next weekend. As always, our hopes are higher than the forecast percentages.
Awww. Sleepy mustangs. And yes, what better way to spend this quiet week than taking a few naps. π Praying the predicted rain/snow will be real.
I hope our prayers at this time of year carry extra weight. π
Everyone needs a nice nap sometime! Hope moisture is headed your way!
So true. π And I/we all sure hope some moisture is bee-lining straight for us!
Buckeye has quite a scrape near his eye.
It’s been about 18 degrees here past couple days – and we have about 8-10 inches of snow – and today supposed to rain later!!
I do hope you get some of that Calif. wetness.
Wow, I’d take even a fraction of that amount of snow (to start)! Stay warm!

Yes, I need of a nap!! All the hustle and bustle that comes with these holidays tires these old bones out. My 6 year old granddaughter keeps me young though. π
like you said before , the horses don’t know it’s the holidays, so nap away every chance while the temps are not to low. ( Those warn day naps are the best!)
Ah, young energy. π I bet she keeps you hopping! Critters (and most youngsters) definitely know how to take advantage of naps!
