Tenaz may look surprised by the sudden snow blanketing his previously very brown world … but really, he was looking down the ridge at another stallion.
We got about an inch and a half of the good, white wet stuff before it all soaked into the ground, leaving it as brown as before … but nicely more damp. 🙂
Same here, TJ! About an inch yesterday and a new inch this morning. We’ll take it, gratefully! And handsome Tenaz looks stunning against all that white! Great photo.
That’s wonderful! We missed out on the forecast all-night snow and more accumulation, but it snowed again around 7 a.m. – just that much more moisture to hopefully rally the plantlife a bit. 🙂
Such a beautiful sight!
For sure! I was giddy! Wish you all had also gotten some moisture!
No, not even any dew on the ground. It’s going to be warming up this week.
Here, too … but at least we got the moisture.
Today’s dictionary.com word of the day was “sere.” … It’s coming for all of us.
So glad for the white stuff! Hope a lot more moisture of any kind is on the way!
Whew – me, too!! I hope more is coming, but we shall see. 😉
Yeah !!! Here too and COLD tonight !! Last week I was in Lee’s Ferry where it was 103deg !!
Wow – I didn’t know it was THAT hot down there already – and when you were there! Yikes. You know you’re in Colorado when … you have red-flag/fire-weather warnings AND freeze warnings in the same advisory! Ha. 🙂
Four inches here so far… Melting fast.
Four inches! Nice! I hope it helps, at least in the short term!
It will. Bear and I enjoyed it.
Our 3 inches of snow is gone
