Juniper is sporting her own unique braids these days.

There’s been a shakeup. Storm is no longer with any of his mares, and the mares are split into two groups, each headed by a young stallion. I don’t know where Storm is, but I hope he’s OK.

I never want to hear things like this, TJ – “I don’t know where Storm is.” Shades of Chrome, speaking of Chrome. I hope Storm is okay too. πŸ™ I love Juniper’s loopy braid!

I know. He seemed OK when I did see him, so I’m hoping he’s just way in the back-east of the basin.

Oh no! Who are the young stallions?

Flash is one; the other is a young stallion that was previously a satellite to one of the combined groups.

One of the hard parts of getting to know any wild animal – things happen – they get older – their lives change.

The braids are always interesting.

True. Storm is only 16; I didn’t think I’d have to worry about this so soon.

She’s got cool looking braids too.

Very nice photo.

Praying Storm is just recovering from what must have been a battle if his ladies are split between two other stallions.πŸ™

There’s been some shifting among those other stallions, too. I hope Storm is just enjoying a rest out of sight. Juni does have nice braids. πŸ™‚
