There’s been a shakeup. Storm is no longer with any of his mares, and the mares are split into two groups, each headed by a young stallion. I don’t know where Storm is, but I hope he’s OK.

I know. He seemed OK when I did see him, so I’m hoping he’s just way in the back-east of the basin.

Flash is one; the other is a young stallion that was previously a satellite to one of the combined groups.
One of the hard parts of getting to know any wild animal – things happen – they get older – their lives change.
