As I type this Monday night, to publish this morning, we’re still hoping that the chance of rain overnight is actually going to prove accurate and that we might wake up to mud.
Cassidy Rain is already ready for mud.

Cassidy Rain is such a cutie…and even more so as a mud baby!βHopefully she’ll have some additional mud holes after today. π€
Woo hoo! Snowing like crazy here (since right after 9 a.m.) – driven by a strong north wind – and actually sticking for the moment!
Pretty gal! Hoping for rain and a lot more mud!
The first few minutes were rain (40F), and now it’s snow. It will leave some mud. π
Obviously – SOMEWHERE there is mud!!
They do have water to drink, so yes, there’s mud at the edges. π
Yeah – I remember the mud issue back when I had a horse and was involved with them.βAltho with the wildies – nobody is going to bother them with currying & brushing (lucky ones, right?)
None here. Just wind…
We had crazy windy (I’m surprised my rain gauge caught anything at all, but it did), but we also got a seemingly miraculous half-inch of wet white stuff. For a hot minute, we had damp ground that one might have called “muddy,” but as of early to mid-afternoon, it’s dry again. π Well, it’s something.
Hope you and Cassidy got your needed rain!!

We got about 10 minutes of rain and about an hour of wind-driven snow. π But it was wet!
Yayyyyy!!!ππ
