None of the horses have cooperated in posing nicely by this lone cottonwood in Spring Creek Basin, but it was too pretty to ignore and not share!

What a pretty – and plucky – little cottonwood, TJ! I love these trees, opportunistic occupants of the high desert and SO beautiful in the fall. Thanks for this photo!
They’re pretty stunning in this part of Disappointment Valley right now!
Very pretty, even without the ponies!
A beacon of light, even after sunset!
You picked the perfect angle. Beautiful
Foreground and background, beautiful! 🙂
You’ve captured it all !
If only there had a been a pony at hand … ! 🙂
I’m currently in love with the golden Chico. I don’t remember a fall here where it had the chance to do what it’s doing now. It’s lit from the inside.
Chico? I think that’s what they call greasewood here? Sounds beautiful. 🙂
That’s what they call greasewood here, too. Maybe you can see the photo. I’m going to try to paint it. https://marthakennedy.files.wordpress.com/2023/10/img_3937.jpg
It does look very yellow in your pic!
It was back lit and morning, but it is that yellow right now. It’s amazing!
Such beautiful trees! Thanks for the memories.
So glad to have you and Frank here at the most beautiful time of year!
