It’s been a while since we’ve seen Reya. She and her band favor the southern areas of Spring Creek Basin and aren’t often seen. That makes sightings all the more wonderful and appreciated. 🙂
From a distance, most people think most of our dark-bay-and-white pintos are black-and-white because they *are* so dark. But as you can see in her subtle coloring, she’s actually bay. 🙂 She’s only infrequently on the blog because I don’t see her and her band very often the last couple of years.
So good to see Reya! Thank you for catching her, TJ, and giving us a chance to see her again. She is a beauty.
It’s always good to see these ponies. 🙂 They aren’t at all upset to NOT be seen!
She blessed you. ❤️
She certainly did. 🙂
Love those pintos!
Especially Reya. 🙂 I’ve known her since she was a weanling!

What amazing coloration! I don’t think I’ve seen her before. I love the painted horses.
