Storm puts some *oomph* behind his assertion that another stallion’s presence isn’t welcome. The other stallion got the message.

Happy 90th birthday – !!!! – to my good friend Roy, who grew up in Disappointment Valley and still comes to see the mustangs in the spring and in the fall. I think Storm would agree with me that Roy is always welcome, and any friend(s) of his are friends of ours!
That message is loud and clear! I love the motion of his mane in this photo!
Yeah, it is! He’s not a shy boy. 🙂
truly a magnificent photo of a stallion showing the beautiful curve of his neck, mane and his muscles.

He’s special … to me, anyway. 🙂
Storm in action! What a beautiful shot, TJ! And happy birthday to Roy. We saw him once with a lady friend (or wife?) while visiting the HMA one fall. And you’re right – a friend of the mustangs is also our friend. 😊
Thanks! And yes, Roy visits with his girlfriend, Donna. 🙂
Don’t mess with Storm! Happy birthday to Roy!
🙂
I love Storm. I love the succinct elegance of his poetry.
Me, too. 🙂 I still see him as a day-old little copper princeling with his mama, his ear tips still curled and her hind legs still red with birth blood. He is a force!
Happy 90th Birthday Roy!!
🙂
That is so great!
Thanks, Pat! 🙂
