Though Cassidy Rain is all kinds of lovely dark shades herself, in these early spring days, when it still feels like late winter, she is the bright spot in a still-drab landscape. And while Colorado is still getting snow (!), she and the rest of the mustangs are still wearing those fluffy winter coats. They do know how to adapt to Mother Nature!

She is so beautiful. I’m hanging onto my fuzzies, too (aka wool socks).
And my heaters are still plugged in … though I like to open the doors now and then to get a gust of spring through the house! (It’s chilly, and I can’t leave ’em open … but the promise is there!)

Me, too! Usually I dread spring because we haven’t had enough winter moisture. This year, I think I’m as happy to welcome it as everyone else. 🙂
