Those patches of white in the background are shrinking, shrinking … as the snow melts and the valuable moisture seeps into the ground (or evaporates with that wild wind!).

Hoping the snow predicted for the San Juan’s this weekend reaches the basin !
She sure does set the heart soaring. 🙂 We have RAIN in the forecast, if you can believe it. … Starting tonight, and depending on the forecast source, continuing into Sunday! Meanwhile, it’s almost dry in most places in the basin … with mud seeping across hillsides and arroyo banks where snow is melting. 🙂
Ah that wind. This beautiful girl doesn’t seem to care, though. Hoping for snow this weekend here, too. Well, that’s a constant condition for me…
