Our tan world got very white again yesterday morning! It was a snowfall of about an inch, and much of it melted during the day, that liquid goodness seeping into the soil – and into the catchment tanks. The last time I was at the first new catchment, water from the melting snow was gurgling noisily from the roof to the gutter and down the pipes into the tanks. What an absolutely MARVELOUS sound!
Tenaz may have been watching the clouds swirl around McKenna Peak and Temple Butte and the far eastern and southeastern ridges, but he was the star of the show to me.
So glad for the moisture! Beautiful picture!
All moisture is good moisture! π
I am so glad to see that snow, TJ! I was hoping you would get some of this, and it turned out you got more! We only had about a 1/4 of an inch but it was enough to make the roads really slick.π³ Tenaz is gorgeous in all that white!
I was negative Nellie right up to the night before – clear sky! Who woulda thunk it would snow by morning? π Hope you didn’t have to go out on those roads! Love Tenaz in the white. π
Such good news about the snow/water catchment!!

Indeed, it is. π Hopefully we’ll have more gurgling through later this winter.
so beautiful. We didn’t get any snow. It was 51 degrees…
Would you believe that it was 51 degrees *here* literally hours before it snowed?! Just another couple of days in Colorado, eh? π Sorry you didn’t get any snow out of this little wave. … Some more in a week … maybe?!
Fingers (and paws!) crossed.

Good luck … with snow and tourists! π
Don’t you wonder what they, the horses are thinking as the gaze across their world!
