The heat is back, the flying insects are bugging horses and humans alike, and we – including, I imagine, Cassidy Rain – are anticipating the cooler, crisper days of autumn.
Seems summer has made a return for now…and those pesky, annoying buggies are taking advantage. At least the mustangs have a good supply of mud to use for insect repellant!
Oh, it’s so hot again. And the bugs are definitely out in what passes, for us, for humidity! They definitely do have water holes galore. Very handy. 🙂
I don’t, either!! And the horses stamp and swish and shake and rub their faces on each other and walk over little pinon/juniper trees to rub their bellies. We’ll all be welcoming the crisp days of autumn. 🙂
